"Steffan undertook to completely rethatch the roof of the village bus stop, which is one of the village’s iconic views. He produced a competitive quote and then undertook the work on time and within budget. Steffan was able to draw on his skill and added a few artistic flourishes that enhanced the overall look of the bus shelter. It's a great job and the villagers are extremely impressed by Steffan's high quality work."

"As a novice at thatching we were very nervous about having the thatched done to our property, Steffan took time out to come and explain about all the techniques available and really put our minds at rest.

When he started I couldn’t believe the hard work that he put in, in doing the thatched single-handed.
He did a fantastic job, turned up when he said he would and completely cleared away all debris after.
I would not hesitate in recommending Steffan."

Steffan Frost Master Thatcher

We employed Steffan to under take the complete re thatch of our 15th century cottage. The existing roof was replace with new rafters and fire lining so necessitating a complete re thatch rather than just a skin or layer of new.
Initially I was suprized that Stefan worked alone and planed to under take the entire job on his own. My fears quickly dissolved as Steffan was very efficient and the work progressed seamlessly with out any hiccups. Stefan was also very helpful in resolving construction details that really made the complete ensemble a first class job.
I'm very happy to recommend Steffan to any one who needs a first class thatcher. Steffan is genuinely proper thatcher who possesses the understanding and experience that is so often lacking.
I'm happy to provide further information and support to assist Stefan with any future clients. Please note that I'm am a construction professional rather than just a happy householder.
